PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING

Angel City Badminton Club (ACBC) strongly recommends players to wear proper shoes (indoor court shoes – no black sole shoes) in the gym. New members and guests must sign a waiver before playing. Note that a new waiver needs to be signed every year. Please keep your personal items secured – ACBC is not responsible for any lost items. To ensure that all members and guests have an enjoyable experience playing badminton, please follow the ACBC Club and Court Rules and be courteous to fellow players at all times. We thank you for your support and cooperation!

PLEASE BRING YOUR EQUIPMENT AND QUALITY FEATHER SHUTTLES (AT LEAST YONEX AS10) TO PLAY

Badminton Equipment: Please bring your own set of new feather shuttlecocks, racket(s), and water. Each player is required to bring new quality feather shuttles—at least a YONEX AS10, for the match. If you don’t have shuttlecocks, you can purchase them from us. Used shuttles are available at the gym for warm-up and practice. If you don’t have a racket, you can rent one from us for $5.

ACBC CLUB RULES & POLICIES

  1. Good sportsmanship is expected for all badminton activities.

  2. Please respect all staff members and volunteers.

  3. All members and their guests must wear proper attire when using the courts.

  4. Indoor gym shoes are required - no hard-soled shoes or black soled shoes may be worn on the courts.

  5. All playing guests must sign the waiver of liability form prior to playing.

  6. Drop-ins are allowed - drop-ins must follow the same rules as ACBC members.

  7. ACBC is not responsible for any lost personal items - please do not leave any personal items unattended.

  8. Use of profanity, verbal threats, acts of violence or other inappropriate conduct or language will result in immediate removal from the Club. Any observance of such conduct should be reported to staff immediately.

  9. In the case of an illness or injury, please contact a staff member immediately.

  10. Additional guidelines deemed necessary for the safety and comfort of the Club members may be enforced at any time.

Failure to adhere to the ACBC Club Rules and Policies will result in immediate removal from the Club.
